GLENS FALLS, NY – Today, the Detectives’ Endowment Association, Inc announced its endorsement of Congresswoman Elise Stefanik. The Detectives’ Endowment Association, Inc represents 18,000 active and retired NYPD Detectives who work to improve legislation that affects the law enforcement community. Hundreds of DEA members moved to Upstate New York and the North Country following their service and many call Congresswoman Stefanik their representative.
“The Detectives’ Endowment Association, Inc, which represents 18,000 active and retired NYPD Detectives, is proud to endorse Congresswoman Elise Stefanik in her re-election bid,” said Paul Digiacomo, Detectives’ Endowment Association, Inc President. “Hundreds of our members moved to Upstate New York and the North Country following their service and many are lucky enough to call Congresswoman Stefanik their representative. Congresswoman Stefanik is the only candidate running in this race that has consistently been a champion for the law enforcement community. In Congress, she has stood up against the radical Far-Left’s calls to defund the police and their dangerous bail reform legislation, and she has fought for needed resources to help us do our jobs. We look forward to working hard to help Elise get re-elected this November because we know that a vote for Elise is a vote for public safety.”
“I am proud to have earned the Detectives’ Endowment Association’s endorsement for re-election to Congress,” said Congresswoman Stefanik. “Upstate New York and the North Country are home to hundreds of retired detectives who moved here after their service, and they know I’ve fought tirelessly in Congress to deliver real results for our law enforcement community. I look forward to continuing to work with the Detectives’ Endowment Association in the next Congress to build upon my track record of delivering for our brave men and women in law enforcement.“
